Following on from the wonderful results of those receiving their A Level Results last week, Hardenhuish School would like to congratulate the Year 11 of 2025 for their fantastic results!
Lisa Percy, Headteacher commented “The young people collecting their results today should be proud of all that they have achieved. They have been a great year group to work with, and we are thrilled that their hard work has paid off with some amazing results. We are grateful for the unwavering support, encouragement and care of the Year 11 team, their teachers and parents which has played a significant role in their success. We wish these wonderful young people the very best with their next steps, whether they are staying at Hardenhuish or moving on to continue their education elsewhere.”
There are many individual success stories with lots of young people who are now able to pursue their next steps with choice and confidence because of their fantastic exam success.
The Year 11 Learning Manager, Becky Parry-Jones commented “The Year 11s have shown incredible dedication, determination and resilience throughout their five years at Hardenhuish, and we could not be prouder of everything they have achieved on their journey. Results Day is a moment to celebrate their hard work, their personal growth, and the successes they have earned along the way, particularly in their GCSEs. Each student has something to be proud of and today is a reminder of how far they have come and the exciting futures that lie ahead. Well done to all of the Year 11s collecting their grades this morning, Mrs Loft and I send our warmest congratulations and very best wishes for the next chapter – we are truly proud of every single one of you”.
We would also like to congratulate Year 10 who have received their GCSE Statistics results today which have given them a taste of the exam celebrations to come for them next summer.
A Level Success 2025
The Year 13 leaving Hardenhuish this summer have been an absolute delight to work with and support. They have contributed a huge amount to our school community and are generally just lovely young people. As well as working incredibly hard, they have achieved some amazing results in their exams. We are proud to be able to share in their celebrations and look forward to hearing of their future successes.
It has been a fantastic summer for the Year 13 students who have achieved brilliant exam results which will open doors and enable them to move on to the next stages of their lives with amazing qualifications as well as confidence and commitment. Over 61% of grades awarded were at A*-B including Core Maths and EPQ with 27% at A*-A. As well as this they have contributed widely to the success of the school through their talents, skills, care and community spirit, supporting younger pupils in class and with their reading, leading the School Parliament and playing a massive part in the drama, dance and music performances over the years.
The Sixth Form Team, led by Mike Heffernan, Director of Sixth Form, added “We are so proud of the fantastic results that our sixth form students have received this morning. They have worked incredibly hard over the past two years and it has been wonderful to see them celebrate today. Students are now off to a range of post-18 destinations including prestigious universities and to start highly competitive apprenticeships. We wish them all the very best and know that they have exciting futures ahead”.
