Now that A-Levels at Hardenhuish are finished, Y13 Student Casper, and friend Aidan thought they would celebrate by taking on something completely different… cycling 1,000km in 10 days from Bilbao back to the UK! Please see further information from Casper
We caught the ferry from Portsmouth to Bilbao on Saturday evening, survived the 33-hour crossing, and we’re now on the road. Over the next 10 days we’ll be cycling across northern Spain, through France, and on to St Malo before heading home. It’s going to be a huge challenge, but one we’re really excited about.
We’re doing it all to raise money for Dorothy House, an amazing local charity that provides incredible care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. It’s a cause that’s really close to our hearts, and every donation will make a difference.
If you’d like to follow our adventure (and see whether our legs survive!), we’ll be sharing daily updates on Instagram: @bikepackingbilbaotostmalo. We’d love your support and encouragement along the way.
And if you’re able to donate—even just a few pounds—we’d be incredibly grateful. Every penny goes to Dorothy House and will help support the amazing work they do.
Thank you so much for your support!
