🥁Ready to take your drumming to the next level? Join us for an introduction to the world of drumline performance, designed specifically for drum kit students aged 11 – 16 who are working at Grade 3 standard or above.
🥁This half-term holiday workshop will focus on developing creativity, musicality, drum beats, fills and chops. You will explore drum kit beats from the book Flipping Beats written by workshop leader Adam Teixeira. Starting with warm ups, techniques, rudiments and stick control in a progressive practice pad group session, you will extend these to snares and bass drums in a group music making session to experience the energy of playing together in a drumline. Bring sticks and a practice pad
Book on Workshop 1 at 9.30 – 12:30 or Workshop 2 at 1.30 – 4.30pm.
