SEN & Learning Support

The Learning Support Department has a team of teaching assistants, two Nurture Group Assistants and a full time SEN administrator, all led by our SENCo Debbie Bennett and supported by a Deputy SENCo, ASD Specialist Teacher and SEN Pastoral Manager

The Learning Support Department is a vibrant and supportive department which welcomes pupils from across the School with a wide variety of challenges in their everyday lives. The Department based in the House is staffed all day from early in the morning to provide a safe and stimulating environment where pupils are given opportunities and motivated to fulfil their potential academically and socially. The staff (and Rupert the School dog) are approachable, committed and dedicated to the pupils’ progress; we work in partnership with parents and outside agencies to broaden horizons and explore creative pathways to build confidence and success.
