The Learning Support Department has a team of teaching assistants, two Nurture Group Assistants and a full time SEN administrator, all led by our SENCo Ali Betts and supported by a Deputy SENCo, and a Specialist SEN Teacher.
The Learning Support Department is a vibrant and supportive department which welcomes pupils from across the School with a wide variety of challenges in their everyday lives. The Department based in the House is staffed all day from early in the morning to provide a safe and stimulating environment where pupils are given opportunities and motivated to fulfil their potential academically and socially. The staff are approachable, committed and dedicated to the pupils’ progress; we work in partnership with parents and outside agencies to broaden horizons and explore creative pathways to build confidence and success.
