Teacher of Science

September 2026 start – (MPS/UPS)

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Science who is forward-thinking and dedicated to teaching across the Key Stages. You should have the drive to motivate pupils to become confident problem solvers who can apply their learning and understanding to the vital role science plays in developing the world around them.

The successful candidate will be passionate about ensuring that every child has the enthusiasm, skills and support needed to make outstanding progress in all areas. The ability to teach Chemistry and/or Physics would be an advantage.

Due to the promotion of the previous post holder, we are seeking to appoint a committed, energetic and inspirational teacher to fill this key role, supporting the SENCo in leading and developing whole-school provision for pupils with additional and special educational learning needs and disabilities. A thorough understanding of the issues underpinning the successful inclusion of all pupils, irrespective of needs and prior attainment, will be essential, as will excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Exam Invigilators

£12.71 per hour plus 5.66 weeks paid holiday per year

Our busy Examinations Officer is seeking to appoint additional invigilators to support her existing dedicated and friendly team during the various mock and external public exam seasons held throughout the academic year.   If you are available to work from early morning and until/or for late finishing afternoon exams we would like to hear from you.  Please note that exam invigilators are required to stand for many hours during exams so physical stamina is a core requirement of this role.
