Introduction
Our mission is to run an energetic and enthusiastic department where teaching and learning form the core of an educational experience centred upon enabling each and every child to develop, progress and flourish to their full potential. As a department we enjoy notable success both at KS3, GCSE and A Level and it is our objective to continually raise standards of achievement for all, regardless of age, ability or background. By instilling in our young people the skills with which to learn we ensure that our pupils are not only successful historians but life-long learners. By giving them knowledge of History we allow them to understand the significance of the past as well as find their place in the ever-changing world around us.
