KS ENGLISH CO-ORDINATOR

We wish to appoint, for a September start, an enthusiastic and highly motivated KS English Co-ordinator to join our vibrant and thriving faculty.  The candidate will work closely with the Curriculum Leader to build on recent successes in the faculty, and show initiative and dedication to further raising the profile of English across the School.  H/she will need to possess excellent subject knowledge and be an outstanding and talented teacher.  The postholder will be expected to contribute to faculty strategy and lead on either KS developments.  The faculty benefits from strong supportive leadership and CPD opportunities.  The KS will be negotiated upon appointment, to suit the successful candidate’s strengths.  Applications are welcome from experienced teachers who are seeking promotional opportunities.

FOOD TECHNOLOGY TEACHER
MPS/UPS – 1 Year Fixed Term Contract

We wish to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food Technology teacher.  Our vibrant and progressive DT faculty teaches within a modern, purpose built centre.  Food Technology is taught at KS3-5, with the addition of GCSE Catering at KS4.  The ability to teach other DT subjects at KS3 would be useful.  Applications are welcome from experienced teachers and NQTs.

PARENT SUPPORT ADVISER
£9.35 – £10.30 per hour

We wish to appoint an experienced Parent Support Adviser to support families with children attending 2 local schools.  The postholder will work directly with parents, empowering them and their families to get the most out of the educational opportunities available.  The work will focus on early intervention activities, working with school age children, signposting to agencies and services as appropriate when specialist support is required.  Previous experience within this field is essential.

The contract will be for 22.2 hours over three days per week, term time only and the postholder will work with Hardenhuish Secondary School and Queens Crescent Primary School.

MIDDAY SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT (MDSA)

We wish to appoint, for an immediate start, an MDSA to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team.  The duties include the general supervision of pupils to ensure their safety.  The salary will be £6.71 per hour.  The successful candidate will be employed for 6¼ hours per week for 38 weeks per year, plus pro rata holiday pay.  The hours of employment will be 12 noon to 1.15pm daily during school term time.
