TEACHING ASSISTANTS (full and part-time)

The role of Teaching Assistant is very rewarding and would suit someone who finds working with more-vulnerable pupils satisfying. Applicants will need to hold level 2 qualifications in Mathematics and English, be proficient in ICT and have experience of working with or supporting children. The hours of work will be 8.25am to 3pm daily term time only. Additional responsibilities may be available for a suitably qualified candidate, e.g. Dyslexia, which may attract a higher grade.

READING INTERVENTION CO-ORDINATOR

The postholder will manage the strand of the School’s literacy programme. In addition to tracking pupil progress, the appointed person will be responsible for the effective deployment of volunteer coaches. The postholder must be organised, proficient in ICT and have had experience of working with or supporting children.

APPRENTICE SCIENCE TECHNICIAN

An enthusiastic apprentice is required to join our busy Science Faculty support team, to assist with preparation for lessons. Applicants will need to have A* to C in English, Maths and Science at GCSE. The post will initially be for one year, with the possibility of a subsequent contract.
