Introduction
The Music Department strongly believes in learning through practical experience. Lessons are vibrant with guitars, ukuleles, keyboards, percussion, jam hubs and a suite of Apple Macs to aid the pupils in their musical exploration. There are many opportunities for all, both in the classroom and in extra-curricular activities. There are three big concerts a year, some smaller performance evenings and a biannual musical and we host other visiting musicians regularly. Many pupils have instrumental lessons with our visiting teachers. The opportunity to be creative, to express themselves and to develop skills in teamwork is essential and what better way than through Music.
