Introduction
The Business and Economics Department is a vibrant team of subject specialists, who are passionate about bringing our fascinating subjects to life. Business and the world economy involve all of us, and we believe that it is imperative that our students are encouraged to learn how businesses function and how they operate in a global economic market. We aim to provide excellent and varied learning opportunities that will help secure knowledge and relevant qualifications but also hopefully inspire future entrepreneurs, business leaders, and economists. Within this dynamic discipline, we use current examples of business success and failure, as well as global economic issues, to bring theory to life, enhancing pupil’s engagement and learning possibilities.
