Hardenhuish School’s annual Careers Fair on Wednesday 14 November proved an enormous success when it was attended by a wide variety of organisations from the local area. Over 30 businesses and universities exhibited, including companies such as Siemens Rail Automation, Wessex Water, Royal United Hospital, Center Parcs, Wiltshire Police and Goughs Solicitors.
It has been a pleasure this week to engage with the broader Hardenhuish community.
On Tuesday evening I attended the WW1 exhibition at Chippenham Museum including a panel created by our pupils to remember the boys from Hardenhuish who were killed. This concluded with a poignant reenactment of the peace march through Chippenham to celebrate the armistice.
Welcome back to term 2!
It certainly has been a packed first week back which sets the tone for the rest of this term.
Year 11 have approached their mocks with a positive and mature attitude and will have earned a
well-deserved rest this weekend.
