Dear Parents of Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils
Further to the Government’s announcement of the 19th June, we are awaiting further guidance regarding all pupils and students returning to school in September. In order to support the planned return to school , we are inviting all pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9, accompanied by a parent, in for a meeting with their tutor (or another member of pastoral staff if the tutor is not able to attend) in the week commencing the 6 July. This ‘check-in’ will last no longer than 15 minutes and will discuss how they have been during lockdown, whether there are any issues with home learning that pupils/students would like help with and planning for the next school year.
In order to adhere to social distancing rules, a maximum of 2 tutor groups per year group will attend each day, staggered through the week. If pupils cannot attend due to them or a member of their household shielding, our plan is to set up a call through Microsoft Teams.
To enable us to schedule these conversations, please could you complete this form by 3pm on Tuesday 30th June Microsoft Forms .
Thank you for your ongoing support with home learning and we look forward to seeing you during the week of 6 July.
