Message from the Head

Dear Parents

I hope that you and your families are keeping well.

It has been lovely to see so many of the Year 12 in school this week. They have reported back that they have enjoyed seeing their teachers and being back in school and are now set up with their home learning for the rest of this term. Year 10 are in next week and we will be in touch later today with parents of young people in Years 7,8 and 9 to make the arrangements for the check-in conversations in the week of 6 July.

Please take a look at the On Your Mind website as there are some new support resources, including a new mental health helpline for young people and parents.

In line with the Government and LA guidance, we will not be remaining open for key workers and vulnerable children over the summer holiday. I will pass on a directory as soon as I am able of the activities available locally during the summer break.

As an increased number of live lessons are taking place, we will be turning the cameras on for all accounts on Teams from Monday.

Please see below a message from Mr Hawkins regarding provisional dates for Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. We are awaiting further guidance as to whether these can take place but felt sharing the provisional dates with you would be useful.
