Hardenhuish A Level Press Release 2022

Hardenhuish A Level Press Release 2022

Hardenhuish School would like to thank the Year 13 of 2022 who are collecting their results today for their incredible resilience, positive attitude and work ethic through what has been a disrupted two years. They have managed the challenges and pressures of their Sixth Form experience with an incredible level of focus and maturity and we are very proud of them.

Hardenhuish headteacher, Lisa Percy said: “It has been an absolute privilege to work with the young people collecting their A Level results today. Over the last two years in particular they have managed the various challenges incredibly well and now have the fantastic results that they have worked for and so deserve – clear evidence of their amazing work ethic, hard work and all-round loveliness!”

The truly outstanding results they have achieved are the outcome of hard work and determination and will stand them in good stead for their next steps in higher level apprenticeships, employment or University. We would also like to thank their parents and school staff for their support of the young people through their exams having not sat formal GCSE exams and having to negotiate a more assessment focussed two years than normal.

Mike Heffernan, Director of Sixth Form commented “Throughout the challenges of the last two years, this group of students have maintained a phenomenal work ethic.  Everyone in the Hardenhuish community is therefore incredibly proud to see how this approach has brought such richly deserved results.  They have been such a credit to our school over the years and we have no doubt that they have seriously exciting futures ahead.  A huge well done to the Hardenhuish class of 2022!”

As well as their fantastic academic results, this year group have made significant contributions to the wider school life and developed skills which will serve them well as they progress on the next steps of their academic or working life. The large majority of our students will go on to courses at some of the most prestigious universities and in the most competitive subjects to pursue their studies as well as many progressing to extremely competitive degree level apprenticeships.

We wish our young people successful and happy futures and look forward to all the success that these amazing young people will go on to achieve as they progress to their next steps.
