Hardenhuish School’s annual Careers Fair on Wednesday 14 November proved an enormous success when it was attended by a wide variety of organisations from the local area. Over 30 businesses and universities exhibited, including companies such as Siemens Rail Automation, Wessex Water, Royal United Hospital, Center Parcs, Wiltshire Police and Goughs Solicitors.
The fair was attended by over 750 pupils across all year groups throughout the afternoon, where they were able to speak to representatives from each organisation. They were also given the opportunity to enter a draw to win a Dell Latitude tablet and keyboard.
Mrs Vicky Brenton, Hardenhuish School’s Careers and Transition Manager, said “It was fantastic to see our pupils engaging so well with the employers to find out about the opportunities available to them. Many of the employers have since commented about how impressed they were with our pupils”.
