Pupils at Hardenhuish School have worked tirelessly during the last month raising money to buy pencil cases for a link school in Jordan. Hardenhuish is proud to be an International School with links to schools in the Middle East as well as the Netherlands and Bangladesh. Hardenhuish recognises the importance of pupils identifying themselves as ‘global citizens’ and the International Schools Committee (ISC) which is part of Hardenhuish’s School Parliament took part in a number of activities last academic year with this focus in mind….

Conor Irwin is looking forward competing against some of the best young trampolinists in the country after jumping up to the penultimate grade in British Gymnastics’ National Development Plan (NDP). The Yatton Keynell 12- year-old, a pupil at Hardenhuish School, achieved his level seven ranking last month, which will allow him to compete at national level as he targets a spot at July’s NDP grades finals in Telford, in July. Eight talented badminton pupils from Hardenhuish School attended the Wiltshire Girls County Badminton Finals in Tidworth on Tuesday 4 February. The younger badminton team had performed really well to get this far in the competition but exceeded all expectations by remaining unbeaten in all their games and being crowned champions! The team will now go through to represent Wiltshire in the next regional heat in Exeter. More than fifty Year 5 primary pupils from all over the Chippenham took part in the now famous annual event – PRESENTING THE BODY – on Wednesday 22 January organised by the Science, Maths and Computing departments at Hardenhuish School. Members of Xtreme -  Hardenhuish School’s Boys Dance Company  – will be competing in the Regional Finals of the Great Big Dance Off Competition in March. The Year 8 boys will appear in the finals at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon on Monday 31 March having being shortlisted in the top 25 of secondary school age dance groups in the South England region.
