On Thursday 24 November, pupils from Queen’s Crescent, Frogwell, Stanton St Quintin, Lacock, St Peter’s, Redland, Kington St Michael, Trinity and By Brook Primary Schools attended the Electricity Challenge eventorganised by the science department at Hardenhuish School. Last Tuesday, a group of Year 7 pupils who attend Hardenhuish’s after school’s Science Club, were fortunate enough to get a visit from a former pupil, Rebecca O’Donnell. Rebecca now works for IXYS, a company that produces electrical components, including small solar cells for phone chargers and torches. Last Tuesday, an outstanding game of rugby was played at Hardenhuish School in Chippenham in the semi-finals of the Wiltshire RFU Schools’ Cup that finished with the home team winning 19-0. On Thursday 10 November, Year 11 pupils at Hardenhuish School had the amazing opportunity to meet with a GB Paralympian as part of activities organised for a cross curricular day.
