On Monday 18 January, Hardenhuish School in Chippenham welcomed Professor Averil MacDonald OBE to host a talk that was open to all girls in Years 9, 10 and 11 and their mothers. Hardenhuish School Wins Wiltshire’s First Healthy Schools Gold Award

On Wednesday 13 January, Hardenhuish School in Chippenham was the first school in the county to be awarded the Wiltshire Healthy Schools Gold Award at a special ceremony. The aim of this programme, run by Wiltshire Council’s Children’s Services, is for schools to effectively address the health and wellbeing of their pupils, with the gold level being awarded to those who have showcased their sustained commitment to these areas. Wiltshire Wall of Remembrance on Display!

The North Wiltshire section of the Wiltshire Wall of Remembrance is now on display in the new customer services area of the Town Hall.  It will be on display until 11 February 2016 and has on display all of the poppies that the children made for the wall.

Open Days

The 2016 Open week, taking place from Monday 26 September to Friday 29 September 2016, is open to parents of current Year 6 primary pupils. The days aim to offer an introduction to secondary education at Hardenhuish School and the opportunity for prospective parents to see the school at work during a normal day. Hardenhuish Pupil Wins State of the Art Tablet at Careers Fair Prize Draw

Hardenhuish Year 11 pupil Jayden Griffiths-Mitchell was delighted to be presented with a LINX 810 tablet last week from Mr James Napp, Managing Director of Bechtle. Jayden had won the fantastic ‘state of the art’ tablet when he took part in the Year 11 prize draw at this year’s very successful Hardenhuish Careers Fair which took place in November.
