After a rigorous audition process recently, Year 13 Hardenhuish pupil Joanna Stell has just earned a much sought after place in the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain (NYWO). Joanna now holds one of only twelve flute places nationally! Hardenhuish pupils proved their generosity once again with a tremendous effort for this year’s Children in Need and the school’s extra Charity Week. Year 11 Celebration Awards Ceremony

Hardenhuish staff, governors and the parents of 150 Year 11 pupils all celebrated together in the school’s Peter Thompson Hall to commend the outstanding efforts and achievements of the ‘Class of 2015’. The evening was an excellent opportunity to invite the year back as a whole to celebrate another year of outstanding achievement and success. Creative Hardenhuish Year 8 pupils joined forces with pupils from nine other primary and secondary schools in Chippenham to create more than 600 poppies which were placed on the war memorial in Chippenham on Remembrance Sunday. The poppies were made into four beautiful wreaths which were displayed in Sainsbury’s Chippenham.
