More than fifty Year 6 pupils from eight Chippenham area primary schools participated in a ‘Young Officials’ course hosted by Hardenhuish School this week. This course is run by the Chippenham Partnership of Schools which wasformedin the Summer of 2011, comprising three secondary schools, one special school and seventeen primary schools. Hardenhuish Pond Project Receives £1000 Boost From Friends Of The Earth

An initial cheque presentation for £1,000 was presented to Mr David Clarke, Assistant Headteacher of Hardenhuish School from Mr Stephen Eades, Chairman of North Wiltshire Friends of the Earth. The presentation took place alongside the site of the pond, near the main entrance of the school, and will fund the restoration and development of the area, as part of the Hardenhuish Eco-Schools Green Flag status. Year 9 Pupils to Represent Mid Wiltshire at the County Netball Final

Congratulations to all those who took part in the Year 9 Wiltshire Netball Competition  on Wednesday 7 October. Six different schools competed and both our A Team and B Team performed brilliantly. The B Team won 1 match and lost 3, finishing in 4th place. The A Team won 5 matches and lost 1, putting them in the runners up position, narrowly missing out to  St Mary’s School. They will now go on to represent Mid Wilts at the County Final. Well done girls!   October 2015

Champions for the 2nd Year Running!

The first big tournament of the year was the Year 11 Girls’ Hockey, which never fails to disappoint. All participating schools showcased some excellent hockey skills and ability, which were a pleasure to watch. The Hardenhuish girls put their all into each game they played and battled to get the ball back.  They finished the evening in top position which gives them the title of District Champions!
